woman digitizing maps for GISLocated in Lakewood, CO at the Denver Federal Center, the Rocky Mountain Mapping Center is responsible for performing the National Mapping Program in the 14 western states. JCWS operates and maintains the Rocky Mountain Center Photolab equipment and facilities that are one of two laboratories which provide intermediate photographic products and color proofing for the production of maps for the USGS. At the Photolab JCWS generates and delivers photolab products and provides on-site photolab training and tours. These products include: printing (film and paper copy); etching; photomechanical (scribe guides, color proofs, and greenlines); image work (continuous tone and halftone, paper and scale stable prints); camera (projection work); diazo copy; and opaqueing, registration, punching, labeling and screens. Firm fixed prices have been established for products and services.
